ORCHARD MANOR MUSIC THERAPY STAFF 

Lisa Swanson, MMT-BC - is the Clinical Training Director and Activity Manager at Orchard Manor.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Music Therapy from the University of Minnesota and graduated from Temple University with a Master's degree in Music Therapy.  Lisa has worked in long-term care for over thirteen years and has expanded Orchard Manor's music therapy services to the community through a contract with the local hospital.  Lisa works to expand awareness and access to music therapy throughout the community and abroad.  She has additional training in Guided Imagery in Music (Level II) and various music therapy techniques.       

Teri Pomrehn, MT - is the full time music therapist at Orchard Manor.  She received her Bachelor of Music degree, with emphasis in music therapy and percussion, from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa and completed her music therapy internship at central Wisconsin Center in Madison.  Teri’s profession experience comprises work with adults and children with developmental disabilities in a variety of settings, including public schools, vocational workshops, and the ICF/SNF setting.  She has additional training in NMT, sensory integration, end-of-life care MT, Orff and adaptive instruments / technology.
